Snowflake Amsterdam, North Holland, Netherlands. We are seeking technology thought leaders with a strong background in building data platforms who enjoy enabling data teams to extract value from Snowflake, the central data platform used by organizations of all sizes. This is a post‑sales role based in Amsterdam, focused on delivering data platform solutions for customers.

The Snowflake AI Data Cloud’s mission is to mobilize the world’s data so that businesses can be truly data‑driven. We aim to make the platform easy to use and to help companies at all stages of the data maturity journey. Our team provides expert advisory services to customers and helps them design and implement enterprise solutions that maximize the value of their Snowflake investment.

• Engage with multiple Snowflake customers
  
• Lead technical streams of client data platform implementations and onboarding efforts
  
• Coordinate with the Customer Engagement and Delivery teams to ensure technical guidance, project management and functional support
  
• Collaborate with Engineering, Support, Sales and Marketing
  
• Help clients troubleshoot implementations and integrate Snowflake within their ecosystems
  
• Identify, document, triage and track issues to ensure timely resolution
  
• Contribute to the growth and scalability of the Delivery and Training teams through documentation, process optimization and cross‑training
  
• Apply industry, domain and technology expertise to client implementations
  
• Gather product feedback and recommendations from customers to inform new features and capabilities
  

We are looking for individuals with a strong track record in building best‑in‑class cloud data platforms and solid consulting skills. This role requires about 12+ years of experience in a customer‑facing technical position.

• 
  
• Distributed systems and massively parallel processing technologies and concepts (e.g., Snowflake, Teradata, Spark, Databricks, Hadoop, Oracle, SQL Server) and performance optimization
  
• Data strategies and methodologies such as Data Mesh, Data Vault, Data Fabric, Data Governance, Data Management, Enterprise Architecture
  
• Data organization and modeling concepts and techniques (Data Lake, Data Warehouse, Dimensional modeling, 3NF normalization)
  
• Infrastructure concepts (cloud hyperscalers such as AWS and Azure; IaaS, PaaS, networking, security, encryption, identity and access management, disaster recovery planning)
  
• Data engineering concepts and frameworks (batch and stream processing, replication, SQL, DBT, Talend, Informatica, Python, Snowpark, PySpark, DataFrames, storage formats such as Parquet, Avro, Iceberg, Delta Lake; orchestration and DevOps)
  
• Business Intelligence and analytics solutions (Tableau, Power BI, MicroStrategy, ThoughtSpot, SAS, Streamlit) and analytics techniques (time series, advanced SQL, statistical analysis, forecasting)
  
• AI/ML fundamentals including classification, regression, clustering, dimensionality reduction, NLP and language models
  

Our ideal candidate brings structure to complex and evolving environments and can lead engagements with stakeholders at different levels. Prior industry experience in Financial Services, Retail, or Healthcare & Life Sciences is advantageous.

We have a flexible remote work policy. Presence in the Amsterdam office once per week is expected, with occasional travel across EMEA to support customer projects or events.
