Founded in 2017, Superstruct Entertainment (Superstruct) is a private equity backed, London-based global live entertainment platform that owns and operates premium live music events and service companies focused on the live entertainment industry. Superstruct organises more than 70 large-scale festivals in Europe and Australia and various other event formats. Major collaborations include leading festivals such as Sziget, Wacken Open Air, Parookaville, Arenal Sound, Defqon.1 and Boardmasters. To strengthen the Amsterdam headquarters of Superstruct Entertainment Netherlands, we are recruiting a Commercial Legal Counsel.

As Legal Counsel you navigate legal, commercial, and general business challenges. Collaborating closely with both the legal and business teams, you provide high quality legal advice regarding festivals such as Awakenings, Mysteryland (ID&T) and Zwarte Cross (Feestfabriek Alles Komt Goed). The scope of your responsibilities is diverse and ever evolving. Your focus will be on commercial contracts, in particular supplier, merchandising, marketing, sponsorship, venue, food & beverage, licensing, IP and artist agreements.

Profile

• Dutch law degree, either in-house experience or within private practice
• experience with drafting and negotiating commercial contracts and/or commercial litigation
• a down to earth, structured, confident, and curious self-starter
• able to assess risks and communicate potential challenges effectively to the business
• fluent in both Dutch and English
