More about the role

  • You’ll lead a global privacy program and develop a digital compliance program, monitoring maturity levels and ensuring adherence to international, federal, and state privacy laws.
  • You’ll collaborate with colleagues across Signify, including legal teams, business integrity, and external partners, with regular travel required.
  • You’ll guide cross-functional teams, elevating privacy into a strategic business enabler.
  • You’ll advise on global data protection laws, identify risks, and ensure compliance with privacy standards like GDPR, CCPA, PIPL, and the EU AI Act.
  • You’ll support legal drafting, negotiations, and provide guidance on data privacy and governance issues.
  • You’ll promote awareness of privacy and data protection within the organization.

With products like Philips Hue and WiZ, data is central to innovation, making privacy and digital compliance critical.

About you

  • 10+ years of legal and business experience managing global privacy programs in fast-paced environments.
  • Experience leading teams and strong stakeholder management skills.
  • Deep knowledge of privacy laws including GDPR, CCPA, and others, with the ability to translate regulations into practical solutions.
  • Interest in expanding into legislation like the EU AI Act or EU Data Act.
  • Privacy certifications such as CIPP or CIPM preferred.
  • Independent, capable of handling high workloads and delivering business-oriented results.
  • Strong project and change management skills.
