In the Regions & Cities sector, some 30 professionals work on projects on themes such as regional economy, housing, energy & climate, circularity, business parks, area development and digitisation. In doing so, they use a wide range of methods and techniques, such as social cost-benefit analyses, supply/demand confrontations, policy evaluations and model studies.

The need for and use of facilities (both commercial and social) have been central themes in our work for more than 40 years. Your task is to further develop this theme together with your colleagues. Within the Regional Economy, SCBAs and Broad Prosperity team, you will work on various projects for different clients. These can be classic distribution planning needs assessments at local, regional or provincial level, but also innovative studies into, for example, the future of entire sectors in the Netherlands and into the sustainability, intensification, circularity and energy transition of the provision of facilities, bringing the distribution, size and quality of facilities in an area up to standard, the exploration of vacancy effects when increasing the supply and research that Makes connections between different policy areas such as economy (retail, leisure and tourism), traffic (parking, train stations, etc.), education, sports, health care and welfare.

  • You have at least ten years of work experience in the field of distribution planning and/or the spatial-economic research of facilities.

  • You like to work in a team and are customer-oriented.
