We are seeking an experienced Freelance Golang Engineer in Amsterdam to support our client on a long-term mission.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain backend services in Go (Golang)
- Build APIs and microservices to support product and business requirements
- Troubleshoot, optimise, and improve system performance
- Collaborate with internal teams to integrate services with frontend and external systems
- Deliver high-quality, well-documented, and testable code
Requirements
- 3+ years of professional experience in Go
- Solid understanding of distributed systems, concurrency, and API design
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud environments
- Familiarity with relational and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis)
- Based in Amsterdam (or a commutable distance away)
- Fluent in English (essential) and Dutch (preferred)
