Senior KYC Associate (WWFT compliance)

At Briddge Legal & Finance, we help international clients navigate the financial and legal side of doing business. Our team brings together expertise across accounting, tax, payroll, corporate law, immigration, employment law, and HR solutions – all under one roof.

We’re based in Amsterdam (Sloterdijk) and also have offices in The Hague, Rotterdam, Eindhoven, London, and Los Angeles. This means we can support our clients across different countries and time zones, making their journey a lot smoother.

We’re looking for a Senior KYC Associate (WWFT compliance) who’s ready to take ownership of our customer due diligence processes and help us raise the bar in compliance and keep things running smoothly and safely. You’ll be the go-to person for complex KYC cases, ensuring we stay ahead of regulatory requirements while enabling the business to grow safely. This is a hands-on role where you’ll work closely with other KYC specialists, the Compliance Officer and the legal and finance teams and you’ll also mentor junior colleagues along the way.

If you’re detail-oriented, curious and enjoy solving problems, this could be a great fit for you.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Lead and perform KYC reviews for new and existing international clients, including high-risk cases.
  • Carry out enhanced due diligence (EDD) for complex client profiles.
  • Review and verify client identification documents, beneficial ownership structures, and source of funds.
  • Keep the firm fully compliant with AML, CTF, and sanctions regulations.
  • Coach and support junior KYC analysts in complex cases and quality assurance.
  • Escalate unusual or suspicious activities in line with internal procedures to the Compliance Officer and KYC Department Head.
  • Spot opportunities to improve workflows, tools, and policies.
  • Working closely other teams to make the onboarding process smooth.
  • Staying up to date on KYC/AML trends and regulations.

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for someone who values learning, teamwork, integrity, and fresh ideas – and who takes responsibility seriously. With your drive and ability to work independently, you’ll play a key role in shaping and strengthening our KYC onboarding process.

  • At least a Bachelor’s degree in Law or related
  • 3–5 years’ experience in KYC, AML, or financial crime compliance with a solid understanding of Dutch WWFT (or WTT) and global KYC and AML regulations (FATF, EU AML directives, OFAC, etc.).
  • Experience with reviews of internationally operational clients (incl. PEPs, complex structures, cross-border transactions).
  • Strong analytical mindset with sharp attention to detail.
  • Familiar with KYC/AML screening tools and data platforms.
  • Confident communicator who can make compliance simple for non-experts. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Services oriented professional with a risk based approach and strong risk assessment capabilities.
  • Believing and practicing our firm’s values

A certificate of conduct (VOG) is required for the position and a reference check is also part of the application procedure.
