Electrical designer

Cable Rooting Engineer/CAD Engineer on a freelance basis to join my client in the West Port region of Amsterdam.

You would join their team in an office/site based (4 days in West Port, 1 day from the office) role working with Cable Routing, Cable Specification, CAD Design and Layout, Design Coordination and Support for the onsite installation and commissioning team.

START: October or November 2025

LOCATION: Site Based Role – 4 Days onsite in West Port and 1 day from the office/home.

DURATION: 18 Month Contract – Temporary to permanent option available

Essential Skills:

• Marine/Vessel/Industrial Installation background.
• 2D/3D CAD Design
• Background in electrical engineering and design, doesn't have to be degree qualified.
• English speaking (Dutch is also beneficial for the role, not required)
• Knowledge of 2D and 3D design software (i.e. AutoCAD, Rhino, Inventor.. etc)

The client is working on an 18 month yacht project, you would be based from their design office with regular working onsite in the shipyard. This is an amazing opportunity to further develop your career on a cutting edge marine project.
