The Role
We are looking for a Freelance Business Analyst to support our growing portfolio of projects in 2025–2026. You will bridge business and technical teams, ensuring requirements are clearly captured, validated, and aligned with secure project delivery frameworks.
Key Responsibilities
- Elicit, document, and analyze business requirements from stakeholders.
- Develop process models, workflows, and use cases for IT & IM systems.
- Support project managers in defining scope, objectives, and success metrics.
- Translate regulatory and compliance needs (GDPR, ISO27001, NATO/EU security standards) into actionable project requirements.
- Collaborate with architects, data governance teams, and security experts to ensure alignment of solutions.
- Contribute to project documentation, including business cases, test scenarios, and acceptance criteria.
- Engage with prospects at industry events and pre-sales meetings to support business development and client alignment
Required Skills & Experience
- 5+ years of Business Analysis experience in IT or data-driven projects.
- Proven track record in regulated or high-security environments (e.g., government, defense, healthcare, finance).
- Strong analytical and documentation skills (UML, BPMN, user stories).
- Familiarity with project governance and compliance frameworks.
- Excellent communication skills in English (Dutch or other EU languages a plus).
- Ability to work independently in a freelance/contracting setup with international teams.
