Your opportunity

As a Senior Engineer Production Support, you will play a key role in ensuring the seamless transition from engineering to production for our world-class luxury yachts. Acting as the vital link between the engineering department and the shipyard floor, you will oversee the final engineering output, ensure manufacturability, and provide hands-on technical support to production teams.

In this role, you will guide and mentor engineers and apprentices, ensuring technical accuracy, compliance, and feasibility of complex systems and structures. You will drive continuous improvement within the engineering process, detect and resolve bottlenecks, and safeguard the uncompromising quality.


What you will do

  • Oversee the final design, detailed engineering, and 3D modeling to ensure accuracy, feasibility, and production readiness.
  • Act as the primary link between Engineering and Production, ensuring smooth collaboration and alignment of technical requirements.
  • Support production teams on-site with solving engineering-related issues during the build.
  • Guide and mentor a team of engineers and apprentices, providing coaching and technical direction.
  • Review engineering documentation and drawings for quality, completeness, and compliance before release.
  • Identify and resolve technical bottlenecks, collaborating closely with other disciplines.
  • Ensure adherence to classification rules, regulations, and shipyard standards.
  • Contribute to the development and improvement of engineering standards, methods, and innovative practices.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to align on design feasibility, manufacturability, and quality expectations.

What you already have

  • BSc. or MSc. degree in Naval Architecture & Marine Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a similar discipline
  • 5+ years of experience in engineering for shipbuilding or yacht building, ideally in production support roles
  • Strong understanding of shipyard production processes and manufacturability constraints
  • Experience with complex mechanical and electro-mechanical systems in luxury yacht environments
  • Skilled in 3D CAD software, preferably Siemens NX or Cadmatic
  • Excellent knowledge of classification rules (Lloyd’s, SOLAS, Large Yacht Code)
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
  • Fluent in English (spoken and written)
  • Proactive attitude, quality-driven mindset, and the ability to thrive in a multidisciplinary environment
