Lead structural engineer

We are seeking a skilled Lead Structural Engineer to join our client's team - naval architecture and marine engineering firm that provides advanced design, engineering, and support services for submarines, naval vessels, floating offshore energy structures, and special ships worldwide.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in structural engineering for ships, with a focus on steel components and hull design.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead structural design and analysis for shipbuilding projects
• Perform detailed calculations for steel structures and hull integrity
• Collaborate with naval architects and engineering teams to ensure compliance and safety
• Provide technical guidance and support throughout the design and construction phases

Requirements:

• Degree in HTS Shipbuilding Engineering
• Proven experience in ship structural engineering, including hull and other steel components
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency in relevant design and calculation tools
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
