They also focus on repair and reassembly of existing systems. Their work supports world-renowned aircraft, including the Apache combat helicopter, the F-35 Lightning II (JSF), the Bombardier Dash 8 Q400, and the NH90 maritime combat helicopter. /ph2Over de functie /h2pAs a Manufacturing Engineer (Product Planning), you will be a crucial member of an Integrated Product Team (IPT), ensuring smooth operational deliveries. You will be responsible for analyzing production characteristics, managing Level 1 (L1) non-conformities, defining temporary production instructions, and preparing dispositions for Level 2 (L2) non-conformities. Your goal? Advancing to a Non-Conformity (NC) approver role while continuously improving production processes. /p pemYour responsibilities /em /p ul liDevelop technical solutions to complex problems, ensuring compliance with GKN Aerospace Health, Safety, and Environmental policies. /li liProvide technical support for manufacturing development and integration for production. /li liResolve issues related to vendor schedules and quality. /li liUtilize root cause analysis, preventative and corrective actions to reduce non-conformities. /li liOversee the implementation of tooling and production planning using Zero Defect Manufacturing (ZDM) methodologies. /li liManage product development, first article development, configuration changes, and build process implementation. /li liDeliver measurable, results-driven improvements aligned with Operational Program goals. /li liFoster strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders. /li liContinuously improve production processes by implementing Lean initiatives. /li /ul h2Wie ben jij? /h2ul liExperience in product/process introduction (industrialization) and production process improvements. /li li1 to 7 years experience in Manufacturing Engineering. /li liA degree in Engineering (Aerospace, Mechanical, Automotive, or related field). /li liStrong influencing and relationship-building skills within a global organization. /li liWorking knowledge of LEAN processes and quality systems (ISO9000, AS9100, or D1-9000). /li liExcellent documentation and reporting skills. /li liKnowledge and experience with hard metals; /li li strongFamiliarity with machining processes (milling, mill-turn, boring, honing) and/or surface treatment processes (heat treatment, plating, shot-peen, NDI) is a strict requirement. /strong /li liFluency in English (written and spoken). /li /ul pemPreferred /em /p ul liStrong influencing and relationship-building skills within a global organization. /li liWorking knowledge of LEAN processes and quality systems (ISO9000, AS9100). /li /ulh2What's in it for you /h2pJoining Fokker Landing Gear, part of GKN Fokker, means working in an innovative, international environment with a strong legacy in aircraft manufacturing.
