The Role:
We are seeking an experienced, and passionate General Store Manager to lead our Roermond Outlet Flagship Store. You will be responsible for driving sales, leading a high-performing team, and delivering the elevated service standards our clients expect. Your strategic vision and operational excellence will ensure the store’s continued success and alignment with our brand values.
Job Scope and Main Responsibilities
You will oversees all aspects of store operations, including sales, profitability, recruiting, maintenance, and inventory control as well as ensuring excellent customer service is delivered. A store manager is expected to improve the overall business performance and achieve objectives through effective management, leadership, and development of the people in their team. As a EssilorLuxottica ambassador the general manager will role model the EssilorLuxottica values and the Sunglass Hut culture.
Responsibilities
- Ensure all KPI targets and expectations are delivered.
- Ensure costs are kept to a minimum and stock loss is in within company guidelines.
- Regularly analyses sales performance, maximising strengths and reviewing poor performance to establish an action plan for improvement
- To follow all company policy and procedures to ensure safety and security of the business
- Deliver memorable customer service and exceptional product knowledge
- Maintain inspiring visual merchandising in store as per guidelines
- Ensuring that the store is always on top of the competition by being commercially focused
- Recruit, lead, motivate and inspire your team to succeed in store
- Create an engaging and positive working environment
- Establish a store culture that embraces diversity and maximises the learnings from a diverse team
- Lead store team to deliver brand story (and Sunglass Hut experience, if applicable) through effective store management
- Set and execute sales performance goals to increase profitability
- Hire, train, and assess store employee's productivity and performance

Qualifications
- High school education or equivalent experience
- 2+ years' store management experience
Languages
- English fluent, Dutch is a bonus
