As the Corporate Development Manager, I source, evaluate, and execute strategic growth opportunitiesfrom deal origination and due diligence to integration. I get to work on high-impact projects that shape the future of Sendcloud.


Your team


Youll join the Corporate Development and Partnerships team, working closely with the founders, C-suite, finance, product, and commercial leaders, reporting to the VP of Corporate Development and Partnerships.


Together, we execute on our M&A strategy and we drive strategic initiatives through acquisitions, partnerships, and integrations, ensuring Sendcloud continues to expand and strengthen its market position.


⭐ Key Responsibilities


Deal Origination & Sourcing

  • Continuously map and monitor the European logistics and SaaS landscape to identify attractive acquisition and partnership opportunities.

  • Proactively build and maintain a pipeline of target companies through industry research, networking, and direct outreach.

  • Establish strong relationships with founders, advisors, and industry stakeholders to ensure Sendcloud has early visibility on opportunities.
  • Strategic & Financial Evaluation

  • Lead the preparation of investment cases, including market analysis, competitive positioning, and strategic fit assessments.

  • Build and own financial models, scenario analyses, and valuation frameworks to support decision-making.

  • Synthesize insights into clear recommendations for leadership and board-level discussions.
  • Transaction Execution

  • Manage full due diligence processes across Finance, Legal, Tech, Product, and People, ensuring risks and opportunities are surfaced early.

  • Partner with external advisors (banks, lawyers, consultants) to drive efficient and high-quality outcomes as needed.

  • Support deal structuring, term sheet negotiations, and transaction documentation through to closing.
  • Post-Merger Integration

  • Design integration roadmaps, governance structures, and success metrics aligned with deal rationale.

  • Drive cross-functional workstreams, facilitate decision-making, and remove roadblocks to ensure seamless integration.

  • Monitor synergy capture and financial ROI, providing transparent reporting to leadership on progress and issues.

  • Improve Sendclouds integration playbooks, processes, and best practices for future transactions.
  • Strategic Projects & Leadership Support

  • Contribute to company-wide strategic initiatives such as partnerships, joint ventures, or new market entries.

  • Lead or support other high-impact projects where your project management and stakeholder management skills can accelerate execution.
  • Our perfect match

  • Experience: 35 years in corporate development, private equity, or management consulting, with exposure to full deal cycles. Experience in SaaS or tech scale-ups is a plus.

  • Knowledge: Strong understanding of valuation, transaction structuring, and integration best practices.

  • Skills:
    - Advanced financial modeling and analytical skills.
    - Proven ability to manage complex projects and stakeholders.
    - Excellent negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills.

  • Mindset: Proactive, commercially driven, highly collaborative, with a can-do and ownership mentality.

  • Thrives in high pace and dynamic environment

  • Language: Fluent in English (Dutch or other European languages are a strong plus).

  • Flexibility: Willingness to travel as needed across Europe,

  • Working location: Minimum 3-4 days a week from Eindhoven office
