In this role, you’ll be the driving force behind building and scaling high-performing teams, steering complex projects in a regulated medical technology environment, and ensuring that every breakthrough we deliver is safe, effective, and compliant. What you’ll do

  • Own the quality strategyrelated to product and process development and ensure its implementation across projects and activities.

  • Shape and execute a future-ready quality strategythat powers breakthrough medical tech, balancing regulatory demands with true innovation.

  • Inspire, develop, and scale a high-performance teamof Quality Engineers who deliver above and beyond, ensuring the right competences are developed, recruited or externally sourced.

  • Own compliance for complex projects and processes,acting as the key voice for regulatory best practices and setting the quality benchmark for the company.

  • Build a strong quality mindsetand ensure that PPDT’s outputs comply with regulations (ISO 13485, EU MDR, 21 CFR 820) and internal standards.

  • Proactive risk management,spotting issues before they surface, steering critical decisions, and safeguarding project momentum.

  • Forge powerful cross-functional partnerships,influencing stakeholders at all levels to embed a quality-first mindset from design through delivery.

  • Communicate effectively and transparentlywith all levels of the organization, translating complex quality topics into engaging, actionable messages for both technical and non-technical audiences.

  • Leverage data-driven insightsto set priorities, measure success, and report on quality engineering performance.

  • Drive organizational change management,guiding the company through growth and transformation while maintaining team engagement and performance.

What you’ll bring:

  • You hold a BSc or MSc degree in a technical or scientific field and bring10+ years of experiencein product, process, or tech development within a regulated medical device or similar environment.

  • You haveat least 5 years of leadership experience, including managing technical teams.

  • You know the quality regulations inside out:ISO 13485, MDR, 21 CFR 820, GMP, etc.

  • You’re a natural project and people manager who balances day-to-day demands with strategic thinking.

  • You work effortlessly across teams and havestrong influencing and stakeholder skills.

  • Your ethics and judgment are rock solid, you’re hands-on, pragmatic, and get things done.

  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage, persuade, and inspire at all organizational levels.

  • Proven experience building and leading high-performing teamsin rapidly changing, complex environments.

  • Ability to navigate and manage organizational complexity,working effectively with diverse teams and adapting leadership style as required.

We’re looking for someone that understands the dynamics within a scaling (Medical) company and is keen to develop into their next role within the next 18 months.
