Job description
As an offshore crane operator, you will work on a production platform in the North Sea on a 2-weeks-on / 2-weeks-off rotation schedule. You will be responsible for:
Loading, unloading, and moving goods using a crane
Performing daily crane maintenance to prevent malfunctions
Logging and reporting crane usage and maintenance activities
Complying with applicable laws and regulations regarding safety, occupational health, environment, and mining legislation
Following procedures and guidelines as outlined in the operations manual
In case of limited crane operations, you may also be assigned as a Roustabout, assisting the deck crew with general tasks such as cleaning. In that role, you'll be responsible for logistical and cleaning duties on the platform.
Requirements
You are required to have the following certifications:
NOGEPA 1.2 or SPARROWS 3
NOGEPA 0.5A/B Basic Offshore Safety
NOGEPA 0.5C CA-EBS
Valid offshore medical examination
VCA (Safety for Operational Supervisors)
NOGEPA 1.9A/B Banksman
NOGEPA 1.1A/B HLO including refueling
NOGEPA 2.2A/B First Aid Offshore
You must also have a good command of the English language, both spoken and written.
