  • Lead the commissioning of renewable energy systems, including performing initial tests, calibration, and system validation
  • Oversee the installation and start-up processes for solar farms, wind turbines, or energy storage systems
  • Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and clients to ensure seamless integration of renewable energy technologies
  • Conduct safety inspections, performance tests, and troubleshooting to ensure all systems meet regulatory and operational standards
  • Document commissioning processes, test results, and system performance
  • Provide technical support and training to clients and operators during the handover of energy systems
  • Ensure compliance with environmental and safety regulations throughout the commissioning phase
  • Travel frequently to project sites for the commissioning, testing, and validation processes

Functie-eisen
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Renewable Energy Engineering (or related field)
  • At least 3 years of experience in commissioning renewable energy systems such as wind farms, solar plants, or battery storage systems
  • In-depth understanding of electrical systems, testing procedures, and troubleshooting
  • Proven experience in working on complex, large-scale renewable energy projects
  • Ability to work on-site and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams
  • Excellent communication skills in English (Dutch is a plus)
  • Willingness to travel both nationally and internationally for project commissioning and testing
