Overview: A leading player in the interventional medical device space is seeking a driven and strategic Sales Manager to lead commercial activities in the Netherlands and Switzerland. This role combines hands-on field sales with leadership of two Account Managers, requiring strong experience in interventional radiology and oncology. Based in the Eastern Netherlands, you’ll collaborate closely with clinical stakeholders and guide cross-border sales efforts in a dynamic, international environment.
Your Tasks:
Lead and support Account Managers in NL and CH through regular check-ins, KPI tracking, and pipeline development
Carry personal sales responsibility in a defined Dutch territory (40–50% field activity)
Drive sales growth in interventional and surgical solutions across NL and CH
Guide territory strategy and support product launches and clinical workshops
Ensure structured reporting via CRM, sales forecasting, and pipeline management
Collaborate with international stakeholders and company leadership on market development
Your Profile:
Minimum 7 years’ experience in medical device sales
Proven track record in interventional radiology and oncology
Experience working with clinicians, radiologists, and interventional hospital teams
Prior leadership or coaching experience in sales teams
Deep understanding of the Dutch healthcare system; knowledge of Swiss markets is a plus
Fluent in Dutch and English; verbal German and/or French skills desirable for Swiss collaboration
Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach and high accountability
Must be based in Eastern Netherlands and open to regular travel to Switzerland and Denmark
