What do you do as a Data & Development Specialist at C?


The Processing & Acquiring Solutions department fulfills our responsibility as a payment institution and transaction processor. We are part of the critical infrastructure. CCV has been active with these services in the Benelux and numerous other European countries for over 20 years. Our market share is growing, but with it, the technical and operational challenges of being a reliable partner for our customers and ensuring the smooth operation of many payment transactions in the countries where we operate. This means shaping changes within the department, but also (co-)shaping changes for many other departments and systems within CCV.


We're looking for a Data & Development Specialist to help us further shape our data-driven ambitions. You'll be part of a small, close-knit team that combines analysis, development, and collaboration. With your technical skills and business sensitivity, you'll translate data into impactful insights. You'll effortlessly transition between technical and practical aspects and know exactly what it takes to move from idea to implementation. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Analyze complex business issues and translate them into functional and scalable solutions

  • Develop dashboards and reports in Power BI and automate data flows with Python and AWS Glue, among others

  • Draw up functional specifications and proof-of-concepts based on business requirements and vision-driven ideas

  • Collaborate with various stakeholders and teams to effectively implement data solutions within an agile working environment

    You know how to extract value from data and how to convey that value convincingly to various stakeholders. With your analytical skills, eye for detail, and understanding of business processes, you can turn ideas and visions into reality. You enjoy collaborating in multidisciplinary teams and naturally take on a connecting and advisory role.

  • A completed higher vocational or university education in a relevant field, such as Data Science, Business Analytics, Computer Science or similar

  • At least 2–5 years of experience in a role as a data analyst, BI developer or data-driven application developer

  • Experience building dashboards and reports in Power BI (or similar BI tools), including knowledge of M, DAX and Power Query and knowledge of ETL processes, data modeling, SQL and working with APIs or cloud environments

  • Strong Python skills, particularly in the context of data engineering, data analysis, and scripting for automation

  • Good command of the Dutch and English language, both spoken and written

  • Hands-on experience with AWS Glue (or similar data pipeline tools) to integrate, transform, and unlock data from various sources
