A Day in the Life

As Intake, Tender and Offering Product Owner, you shape and manage the full offering lifecycle—ensuring customer opportunities and tenders are translated into clear, consistent, and competitive offerings. You oversee the digital intake process and technology-driven tender management, driving standardization and scalability while keeping offerings aligned with business strategy. By leveraging tools and data, you streamline workflows, strengthen the offering portfolio, and enable faster, higher-quality, and more competitive responses.

Your scope will cover Western Europe (WE), and you will report to the Director, WE Contracting Offer & Tender Chief Product Owner. You are expected to work from your local office four days per week.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:

  • Lead and manage intake of customer opportunities, Request for Proposal (RFPs), and tenders: triage, assess feasibility, and map demand to the standard offering catalogue
  • Orchestrate cross-functional delivery: act as the conductor across development pods, IT, legal, process, and deployment teams to ensure offering enhancements and tender solutions are delivered end-to-end with quality, speed, and compliance
  • Prioritize tenders and offering development based on business value, customer impact, technical feasibility, and strategic fit. Shape and manage the offering portfolio by designing standard offerings, modular options, and tailored solutions, while maintaining the offering repository and ensuring consistency across markets
  • Partner with cross-functional stakeholders (Pricing & Contracting (P&C) Value Stream, Local P&C SMEs, IT, sales, marketing, solution architects, legal, finance, supply chain) to craft winning tender responses—clarifying requirements, scoping deliverables, and aligning with offering capabilities
  • Translate offering and tender requirements into actionable development items—such as user stories, epics, and acceptance criteria—in close collaboration with IT and business analysts. Proactively identify and address both technical and non-technical dependencies throughout the tender and offering lifecycle. Define and manage the WE Intake, Tender & Offering backlog to ensure continuous alignment with business priorities and evolving market needs
  • Oversee and optimize the technology stack (bid management; Configure, Price, Quote; proposal automation; collaboration tools) to streamline offering creation and tender delivery
  • Track and improve performance metrics (win rates, proposal turnaround, cost efficiency, offering accuracy) to drive continuous improvement in the offering process
  • Effectively communicate progress and insights to stakeholders to ensure transparency and alignment, while maintaining governance across offerings by embedding legal, compliance, risk, and cost considerations into both offering design and tender execution
  • Required Knowledge and Experience:

  • 5+ years in a Product Owner or similar role in technology, software, telecom, or solutions
  • Deep knowledge of the tender, RFP, and offering lifecycle in complex B2B / enterprise / multi-region contexts
  • Strong technical literacy: hands-on familiarity with proposal and quoting tools (CPQ, contract management), plus an understanding of engineering and architecture feasibility. Experience with Tender management software is preferred
  • Agile expertise: backlog grooming, sprint planning, writing and managing user stories, epics, and acceptance criteria
  • Excellent stakeholder management: balancing inputs from business, legal, finance, and engineering while clarifying ambiguous offering requirements
  • Analytical and data-driven: skilled at prioritizing based on metrics, trade-offs, and constraints
