Accounting & Reporting Lead – EMEA

Location: Amsterdam


We are seeking an experienced Regional Accounting & Reporting Lead to oversee financial operations, reporting, and compliance across multiple regions.


This role involves managing accounting processes, ensuring regulatory adherence, and driving process improvements.


Key Responsibilities:


Support the preparation and review of financial statements

Oversee month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes

Collaborate with internal and external auditors, maintaining financial controls and compliance.

Supervise accounting activities, including general ledger management and financial transactions.

Lead and develop a team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Identify opportunities for process optimization and contribute to system enhancements.


Qualifications & Skills:


Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

Financial qualification (CPA, ACCA) would be advantageous

5+ years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership role (audit experience also considered).

Strong knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS

Proficiency in ERP systems and financial tools

Analytical mindset, proactive approach, and strong problem-solving skills.

Fluency in English
