Position: Sales New Business
Location: Multiple options across the Netherlands, with hybrid and remote working possibilities.
Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Sales New Business professional to drive growth and secure new
opportunities within the IT and digital transformation sector. In this role, you will manage the full sales cycle—from lead generation and building relationships with C-level stakeholders to negotiating contracts and achieving quarterly objectives.
You will collaborate closely with colleagues across Marketing, Pre-Sales, Account Management, and senior leadership to define and execute strategies for clients and regions. With a strong focus on customer experience, you will establish long-term partnerships built on trust and expertise, while enjoying the freedom to apply creativity and innovative approaches.
Key Responsibilities:
- Proactively generate new leads and follow up on Sales Qualified Leads (SQLs).
- Develop and execute tailored sales strategies for specific clients and regions.
- Negotiate agreements within established guidelines.
- Provide transparent reporting on sales performance and client developments.
- Collaborate with internal teams including Sales Support and Pre-Sales.
- Maintain market knowledge and act as a thought leader in your domain.
- Organize creative initiatives to engage prospects, such as events, workshops, or networking activities.
Candidate Profile:
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in IT Business Development and/or Sales Management.
- Strong track record in ERP/SAP/Oracle/Microsoft sales (knowledge of ERP systems, sales cycles, or implementations is required).
- Knowledge and/or experience in at least one relevant client industry.
- Strong commercial and consultative skills with a proven sales track record.
- Familiarity with digital transformation at the intersection of business and IT.
- Ability to act as a trusted partner with stakeholders at all organizational levels.
- Fluent in both Dutch and English, spoken and written.
