What you can expect

As a Senior Payroll / Compensation & Benefits Specialist at ROSEN Europe in Oldenzaal, you will work in an international environment, with operations in over 75 countries. You are responsible for technical (remuneration) matters in the field of Compensation & Benefits, including pensions, benchmarking, mobility, and leave. You advise on and implement Compensation & Benefits strategies aligned with business goals and market developments.


Together with your colleague, you are also responsible for accurate salary payments for approximately 300 employees. You manage the entire payroll administration in the Netherlands and support our international offices, maintaining contact with external payroll providers, tax authorities, and other stakeholders.


You actively contribute to projects such as job evaluation, benchmarking, and improving HR and payroll processes. You answer employee questions regarding salary, fringe benefits, and pension schemes. You are responsible for advising on and making strategic decisions regarding the implementation of the renewed pension system, considering both legal requirements and employee interests.



What you will bring

  • A completed university degree (WO), preferably in Human Resources, Business Economics, Accountancy, or a related field;
  • At least 5 years of experience in a Compensation & Benefits / Senior Payroll role, preferably in an international environment;
  • Extensive knowledge of labor law, social legislation, tax regulations, and pension systems;
  • Experience with payroll software and HR systems (e.g., SAP, AFAS, or similar tools);
  • A true team player with strong analytical skills and a solution-oriented mindset;
  • Strong communication skills in both Dutch and English;
  • Experience managing a wide range of fringe benefits and advising employees and managers on these;
  • Fluent in Dutch and English, both spoken and written.
