About my client

My client is a 40 people fast-growing, award-winning Zendesk Premier Partner (1000 projects made and rated 5/5). After reaching #1 preferred partner for the EMEA region, their next goal is to reach the same position globally.


Due to their growth, they are hiring an Account Executive with a deep interest for AI for Belgium and Netherlands.


Your Responsibilities


In the short term (0–6 months):


  • Take ownership of qualified leads handed over by the SDR/BDR team and drive them through the full sales cycle to close. (usually 2-3 month)
  • Build and manage a robust pipeline within Belgium and the Netherlands.
  • Source new opportunities via networking, outreach, and industry events (1–2 per quarter).
  • Conduct client visits as needed to accelerate deal momentum.
  • Collaborate with the PM team for smooth onboarding, while retaining account ownership for the first 6 months post-sale.


In the long term (6 months+):


  • Position my client as a trusted, strategic partner for clients, focusing on long-term Customer experience.
  • Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities in existing accounts.
  • Expand market penetration by targeting new verticals and customer segments.
  • Continuously refine your sales approach and contribute to improving the sales playbook.
  • Stay ahead of Customer Experience and AI trends to bring fresh, value-driven insights to clients.


Your Profile


You must have:

  • You are fluent in English and Dutch.
  • You have a proven track record in a Sales team in a SaaS company
  • You are not a lone-wolf and prefer to win as team
  • You have deep interest in AI and its impact to the business
  • You are located in Belgium or Netherlands, and willing to visit customer/leads in both country when needed


What would make you stand out as a candidate:

  • Fluency in French
  • Previous experience with Zendesk

Hiring Process

  • 15 min - Call with the headhunter
  • 15 min – Sales skills assessment (async).
  • 30 min – People & Culture interview to check cultural alignment.
  • 30 min – Interview with Revenue Operations Manager to explore experience and soft skills.
  • 90 min – Interview with Head of Sales & Solution Consultant to assess competencies and fit.
  • 30 min – Meet the team for informal introductions.
  • 15–30 min – CEO meeting for a final mutual fit check.
