We are currently supporting a client in their search for a Finance Manager Europe/Financial Shared Service Manager, a strategic and hands-on leadership role focused on rebuilding and strengthening the regional finance function.

This is a high-impact position where the incoming manager will lead a team of approximately 15 FTE across General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), and Accounts Receivable (AR). This role is about building — not maintaining — and will require a strong leader with a clear vision and execution power.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and restructure the European finance operations team (GL, AP, AR)
• Drive process improvements and implement best practices across transactional finance
• Ensure accurate and timely financial operations in line with group standards
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders across countries and departments
• Build a high-performing team through recruitment, coaching, and development

Ideal Profile:

• Proven experience as a Finance Manager or Senior Accounting Manager in an international environment
• Strong background in accounting operations, preferably with Shared Service Center (SSC) experience
• Excellent leadership and change management skills
• Hands-on mentality with the ability to work strategically and operationally
• Fluent in English; fluency in Dutch is a plus
