Job Title: Atlassian Tools Platform Lead

Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Atlassian Tools Platform Lead to design, implement, and manage the Atlassian tool stack, with a strong focus on Bamboo, Bitbucket, and JIRA. The ideal candidate will lead the platform tools team, ensure best practices in design and operations, and drive continuous improvements while collaborating with engineering and delivery teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own and manage the Atlassian tools stack (primarily Bamboo, Bitbucket, JIRA).
- Administer and optimize Bamboo, including creating and migrating build plans.
- Perform administration, performance tuning, upgrades, high availability setup, and integrations with plugins and other tools.
- Deploy and manage applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Migrate applications from on-premise to Cloud/Kubernetes platforms.
- Monitor application and server health, ensuring preventive and corrective actions.
- Automate operational tasks using Ansible and CI/CD toolsets.
- Manage environments on Linux OS with shell scripting.
- Deliver solutions in ITIL/Configuration Management, DevOps, and Agile environments.
- Provide development planning and guidance to ensure best practices across the team.
- Communicate product vision and roadmap to stakeholders, ensuring alignment with organizational priorities.
- Keep up to date with Atlassian tools advancements and share knowledge across teams.
Essential Skills & Experience:
- 10+ years of IT experience with focus on DevOps and Atlassian tools.
- Strong expertise in Atlassian stack: Bamboo, JIRA, Bitbucket.
- Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Ansible, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience migrating applications from On-Prem to Cloud.
- Strong Linux OS administration and shell scripting skills.
- Knowledge of ITIL processes and Agile/DevOps practices.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
- Python programming experience is a plus.
