Our client is searching for a Senior Category Buyer E-Commerce who can identify market opportunities, build strong supplier relationships, and drive product performance in digital channels. Key Responsibilities
Manage the product assortment for E-commerce channels and deliver commercial growth
Apply data driven sourcing methods to build business cases and investment proposals
Identify consumer trends, negotiate supplier agreements, and maintain a balanced product portfolio
Develop and manage a monthly product innovation roadmap with category growth proposals
Collaborate with teams in China on sourcing and production, as well as with E-commerce sales to oversee the full product lifecycle
Share insights with retail category buyers and highlight online market opportunities
Use tools such as Helium10, Markt Mentor, and search volume data to identify winning products and investment opportunities
Requirements
5+ years of experience as Buyer, Category Manager, or Purchaser in retail or wholesale (non-food highly preferred)
3+ years of experience with e-commerce channels
Strong negotiation skills with proven results in building supplier partnerships
Skilled in data driven decision making, balancing analysis with market insight
Experience working with Asian suppliers, particularly in China
Proactive mindset with entrepreneurial drive and focus on results
Willing to travel internationally for trade fairs and supplier visits
Fluency in English, Dutch is an advantage
