Manpower is looking for senior operations controller for a client
in Geleen.
As a senior
operation controller, you will perform the following working
activities:
- Integrating
seamlessly with global and local teams at Envalior
- Enhancing and standardizing financial
processes and reporting, while implementing best practices – this
includes strategic restructuring initiatives impacting ICT Finance
systems - Having a dotted-line responsibility
for two financial controllers who will assist in managing financial
controls for various sites - Effectively
collaborating in virtual teams across regions and globally,
engaging multiple stakeholders both within and outside Envalior
- Overseeing the budgeting and forecasting
process for site CAPEX and FOOP, providing detailed explanations,
analyses, and recommendations to Corporate and Operations
Management - Leading strategic decisions,
approving, and safeguarding product costing, raw material, cycle
design, and output consumption analysis, as well as supporting
category management and site-related business decisions
- Reviewing capital expenditure proposals and
completing IRR assessments - Carrying out
responsibilities within the applicable QESH framework, while
proposing enhancements to ensure a safe and healthy work
environment for all employees

Functie-eisen
- A Master's Degree in Accounting/Finance, and/or
professional certifications like CMA, CPA, or an MBA
- A wealth of experience as a finance
professional (10+ years), with comprehensive knowledge of Finance
and Control processes across varied business operations, SCM, and
manufacturing sectors - Fluency in English and
Dutch - Experience in project management,
particularly in the digitalization of financial processes
- A familiarity with Lean Six Sigma
methodologies - A solid understanding of IFRS
- Experience using SAP, particularly in product
costing, project management, and FICO. Knowledge of SAP BW and
PowerBI is a bonus - Exceptional communication,
planning, and organizational abilities - has a
genuine curiosity and passion for deciphering the business
narrative behind financial data - A preference
for experience in the Dutch and Belgian business environments
(including a strong desire to learn and collaborate closely with
specialists to ensure compliance with local tax and financial
reporting requirements, particularly in Belgium)
- The ability to navigate a complex network of
stakeholder - A pragmatic entrepreneurial
spirit, eager to forge and nurture relationships at various
internal and external levels - possesses strong
analytical skills and can transform financial information into
actionable insights for management
