Your job

As a Mechanical Engineer, do you have an affinity with IT and do you like to sink your teeth into 3D CAD? We can offer you a Solid Edge training of 12 days. Then you can become our new Application Officer . You will be a valuable team member in the IT Engineering Solutions department of Royal IHC, supporting IHC’s Engineering related business processes. Your focus will be on Solid Edge , where you will contribute to maintaining and improving the 3D Mechanical CAD tool, which is integrated into IHC’s global PLM environment. You will collaborate in a multinational team on exciting projects and assist in handling incidents as they arise.

Regular interaction with colleagues from both the business and IT sides will be essential. As an application specialist, you will play a vital role in the development of the Solid Edge application, following Agile/Scrum methodologies, and may seek guidance from solution partners when necessary.

Your Profile:

To be considered for the position of Application Officer specialized in Solid Edge, you should have:

  • Education in Engineering, IT or a related field.
  • Eagerness to learn more about Solid Edge with exposure to PLM, ERP, or manufacturing being a plus.
  • Familiarity with ITIL and Scrum is advantageous but not mandatory; a keen interest in these areas is sufficient.
  • Good communication skills in English, spoken and written.
  • Customer-focused approach with basic knowledge of working in application environments.
  • Willingness to learn, a knack for problem-solving, and a dash of creativity.
  • Adaptable attitude with the ability to take initiative and to be flexible when needed.
  • Possibility to work in the Kinderdijk office for minimum of 2 days a week.
