About this position
After down-conversion of the incoming RF signal, IF-band amplifiers should amplify the signal such that it can be properly processed by the ADC. For radar receivers, IF-band amplifiers with very high linearity are required, meanwhile they also should accommodate a variable gain control to compensate for non-idealities (e.g. process spread) in the receiver chain.
What will be your role?
The objective of this internship is to investigate a combination of feedback and open-loop techniques to improve linearity of these amplifiers and based on this make a circuit implementation in a modern BiCMOS technology.
