What will you do?

Your key responsibilities
  • You are a backend developer on our ‘microservices inspired’ stack, helping push the project forward & delivering features.
  • You ensure knowledge is shared among team members
  • You lead and guide the other backend developers by being hands on and through thorough PR review principles acting as a gatekeeper for a clean and maintainable codebase.
  • You are part of the agile DevOps team
  • You conform to the project architectural principles and, if fit/possible, you participate in our architect decision process
  • You assure to meet our DevSecOps standards & best-practices and translates and maintains this to the project's technical stack
  • Open to expand your involvement in our other software stacks and peer with devs from our other cloud solutions

    Our portfolio ranges from transparency and traceability solutions (supplier portal, producers & trader omni-channel platform – both including product specifications, and blockchain). We support our technology with an experienced international team that help our clients with supplier onboarding, data collection, verification and validation. We also offer consultancy around sustainable supply chains, offering risk analysis, impact assessments and training for procurement & category management. 

    ImpactBuying’s clients are large companies like Ahold Delhaize, Jumbo, Action and Hema. We support clients who want to make a difference in their supply chain with their buying power in a cost effective way. 

    IB is currently redesigning and building its software tools and building a new platform to make sure that the solutions can scale up for the future demand of our clients. IB works with several external parties and is in direct contact with them with respect to planning, design and offers made to clients. 

    In order to support our growth we are looking for a new member of our team:ImpactBuying is a B-Corporation, specialized in risk management and transforming supply chains for the better. We have been unravelling complex international supply chains for 15 years in North-West Europe.

    • Overall Skills
  • 5+ years of experience with most of our stack: C# .NET, Kubernetes on Azure (AKS), multi-tenant, SQL & No-SQL Azure services (MongoDb), Azure Portal & Powershell/CLI
  • Experienced Duende Identity server, Oauth protocol, saml & OpenId
  • Experienced with Azure devops pipelines or similar CI/CD tooling for building and deploying
  • Experienced with Docker, Terraform & Kustomise/Helm
  • Experienced with JSON, Rest APIs & Messaging (PubSub)
  • Experienced with microservices principles like high-availability, event driven architecture, eventual vs immediate consistency, centralized configuration management, secret storage & service mesh
  • Nice to have: Experience with Traefik proxy
  • You are aware of the SOLID architecture principles for developing software
  • Skilled with debugging and troubleshooting production challenges with the right DevOps tools
  • 5+ years' experience bringing solution to production at an enterprise level
  • Scrum/Agile with Azure DevOps & GIT, Pull request & experience with gated check-ins
  • Must-have-knowledge in all stages of software development; including CI/CD & automation
  • Good communication skills and an active retrospective participant
  • Continues learning & applying on Security-by-design practices
