I am seeking a skilled and motivated Chef de Partie to join my cliets dynamic kitchen team! This is a full-time, immediate start position in Amsterdam, offering a great team environment and growth opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage a specific section of the kitchen(e.g., grill, sauté, pastry, or vegetables), ensuring all dishes are prepared and presented to the highest standardsPrepare, cook, and present dishesaccording to recipes and instructions from the Sous Chef or Head Chef.Supervise and train junior chefs(commis chefs or demi-chefs) working in your section.Maintain strict hygiene, safety, and cleanliness standardsin your work area and throughout the kitchen.Manage inventory and ingredient ordersfor your section, ensuring freshness and minimizing waste.Work efficiently under pressurein a fast-paced environment, collaborating with the wider kitchen team.Assist in menu development and innovationas required by senior chefs.
Requirements:
Minimum 3 years of experiencein a similar role or in a professional kitchen environment.Culinary training or apprenticeship certificationis an advantage.Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings and weekends.
