Systems Engineer Consultant

Responsibilities

  • Drive the development of innovative devices, focusing on advanced solutions, to support our client’s product portfolio.

  • Ensure product compliance with relevant regulatory standards, particularly for safety and effectiveness.

  • Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary project teams throughout the product development lifecycle.

  • Translate user and business requirements into technical specifications and high-level product designs.

  • Oversee the integration and verification of system components to ensure seamless operation.

  • Utilize systems engineering methodologies (such as V-model, FMEA, RMM) to manage product complexity and quality.

  • Apply modeling and simulation tools to optimize product design and performance.

  • Conduct root-cause analysis to resolve production issues and address customer feedback.

  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders across various global locations.

  • Promote a culture of quality and continuous improvement within the team.


Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Electronics, Mechatronics, Physics, (Bio)Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.

  • At least 5 years of experience in a lead engineering role, managing complex, multidisciplinary projects.

  • Demonstrated experience in bringing products to market using systems engineering tools and methodologies.

  • Proficiency with modeling and simulation software (preferably CREO, Ansys, Matlab, Cameo).

  • Background in medical consumer product development or other highly regulated industries.

  • Experience with requirements management tools (preferably DOORS).

  • Strong analytical, abstract, and creative thinking skills.

  • Excellent communication skills in English.

  • Proven motivational and persuasive abilities.

  • Effective collaboration skills for working with diverse, cross-functional teams.

  • Experience with Design for Six Sigma (at least green belt certification).

  • Strong quality mindset, with a commitment to delivering high-performance results.
