We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Delivery Supervisor to oversee the efficient and timely delivery of whitegoods (e.g., refrigerators, washing machines, ovens) to our customers. The ideal candidate will lead a team of delivery drivers and installers, ensure excellent customer service, maintain safety and compliance standards, and optimize delivery operations to meet business objectives.


Key Responsibilities:

Team Leadership & Coordination

  • Supervise and schedule a team of delivery drivers and installers.
  • Conduct daily briefings, allocate routes, and monitor team performance.
  • Provide training, support, and guidance to new and existing staff.

Delivery Operations

  • Ensure timely and accurate delivery of whitegoods to customers.
  • Oversee loading and unloading processes, ensuring proper handling to avoid damage.
  • Coordinate with warehouse, inventory, and customer service teams to streamline operations.

Customer Service

  • Handle customer escalations and delivery-related complaints professionally and promptly.
  • Ensure deliveries are completed to a high standard, including installation (if applicable).
  • Monitor customer satisfaction and implement improvements as needed.

Health & Safety / Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies.
  • Conduct vehicle and equipment checks to ensure roadworthiness and proper use.
  • Maintain accurate delivery records and logs.

Performance Monitoring & Reporting

  • Track KPIs such as on-time delivery, customer satisfaction, and delivery accuracy.
  • Analyze delivery data and make recommendations for process improvements.
  • Report any operational issues or risks to management promptly.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in delivery supervision or logistics, preferably in whitegoods or large appliances.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
  • Familiarity with routing and scheduling software/tools.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Valid driver’s license (and potentially a commercial license depending on region).
  • Ability to lift and handle large items safely.
  • Knowledge of installation procedures is a plus.
