Job Description: Product Manager, Ads (Smart TV OS)


Location: Amsterdam, Netherlands (On-site, 5 days a week)

About the Role

We are looking for a highly driven Ads Product Manager to join our Product team in the Netherlands. In this role, you will own the vision, strategy, and execution of our advertising products within our Smart TV Operating System. You will shape the future of how ads are delivered across millions of connected devices globally-balancing user experience, monetization, and advertiser value.

You will work cross-functionally with engineering, design, data, marketing, business development, and sales to build and scale a best-in-class advertising platform that includes ad serving, demand/supply integrations, targeting, measurement, and innovative TV ad formats.


Key Responsibilities

  • Define and execute the ads product strategy for the Smart TV OS platform, aligning with company vision and revenue goals.
  • Drive end-to-end product lifecycle: requirements, roadmap, design, development, launch, and ongoing iteration.
  • Partner with engineering teams to design scalable ad-tech infrastructure, including ad server, DSP/SSP integrations, data platforms, SSAI, and measurement tools.
  • Collaborate with sales, business development, and partnerships teams to enable growth with advertisers, agencies, content partners, and demand partners.
  • Work closely with the marketing team on new product launches and ongoing communications to ensure successful adoption and positioning.
  • Champion user experience, ensuring that advertising enhances (and never degrades) the content viewing experience.
  • Monitor ad performance, KPIs, and user feedback to continuously optimize product features and roadmap priorities.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends (CTV, programmatic, privacy regulations, AI-driven targeting) to ensure innovation and compliance.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert for advertising products internally and externally.


Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in product management, preferably in ad-tech, digital advertising, or connected TV.
  • Strong knowledge of advertising ecosystems (DSPs, SSPs, Ad Servers, DMPs, SSAI, measurement & attribution).
  • Experience with CTV / OTT platforms and understanding of both linear and digital advertising models.
  • Excellent analytical skills; comfortable working with data to drive product decisions.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills; ability to align diverse teams across geographies.
  • Experience working in global markets and navigating GDPR / privacy regulations is a strong plus.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • Ability to work on-site in our Amsterdam office, 5 days a week.
  • Willingness and ability to travel internationally, up to 20% of the time.
