Reporting to the Head of Development, you will play a key role in advancing our value creation strategy by supporting the end-to-end lifecycle of real estate (re)development projects— from feasibility to delivery. This role is geared toward high-potential talent looking to grow in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment and contribute to sustainable, data-informed, and community-aligned (re)development initiatives.

You will receive immediate day-to-day responsibility for two high-profile office development projects and will initiate further potential (re)development projects for Stoneweg’s existing portfolio. In this capacity, you are expected to be a confident communicator who can translate complex issues into clear recommendations, effectively engaging and aligning senior management in the decision-making process. The role requires a high degree of independence and ownership, while also working closely with the Asset- and Project Management team. As Stoneweg is also actively acquiring new assets, you will also form an integral part of the acquisition team and will help with underwriting and feasibility of potential acquisitions with a development angle in both the logistics and office markets.

Development Management & Execution

  • Lead the coordination of internal and external stakeholders (e.g., architects, consultants, engineers, contractors) across the project lifecycle.
  • Track timelines, budgets, and key milestones, flagging deviations and proactively mitigating risk.
  • Lead permitting, entitlement, and approval processes in collaboration with legal and technical advisors.
  • Strategic Asset Enhancement: In collaboration with the Asset Management team to identify value-add opportunities in existing office portfolios, optimizing occupancy, efficiency, and returns.
  • Integrate ESG principles, energy-efficient solutions, and smart building technologies to future-proof assets. Lead the sustainable building certifications (BREEAM, WELL, LEED etc.) and ESG strategies according to the local office benchmark.
  • Leasing & Tenant Engagement: Support leasing efforts by collaborating with brokers and tenants to secure pre-leases and optimize building occupancy post-renovation or development.

Financial & Feasibility Analysis

  • Assist in building and maintaining detailed financial models to evaluate project viability.
  • Contribute to investment memoranda, board presentations, and internal decision-making processes.
  • Conduct market research and benchmarking to inform assumptions and strategic positioning.

Due Diligence & Acquisitions

  • Support land and asset due diligence processes, including feasibility studies, zoning, environmental, and legal reviews.
  • Coordinate technical assessments and manage data rooms and project documentation. 

Strategic Reporting & Communication

  • Prepare internal reports, dashboards, and lead stakeholder communications to ensure alignment across functions.
  • Coordinate with internal teams (Legal, Finance, Asset Management) to ensure project alignment and compliance.
  • Provide analytical support for pipeline development, asset repositioning, or exit strategies.

Qualifitactions

Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Real Estate, Engineering, Architecture, Urban Planning, Finance, or related discipline.
  • 5–8 years’ experience in real estate development, , consulting, or large-scale project
  • management.
  • Proficiency in Excel financial modeling;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; experience drafting investment documentation is a plus.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a matrixed, dynamic environment.
  • Fluency in Dutch and English is required; 
  • Strong understanding of the Netherlands office market, zoning laws, sustainability regulations and (re)development best practices.
