Employment agency Manpower is looking for a Demand Planner (temporary for 4 to 5 months) for a company in Rotterdam.
As a Demand Planner, you are responsible for the full-term volume demand forecast for the Benelux across all categories, covering an 18-month rolling horizon. Your main focus is on the 2-6 month horizon, providing a reliable rolling forecast that translates sales and marketing plans, as well as market dynamics, into actionable volume projections. This forecast serves as a key input for the Supply Chain network to plan production effectively. You play a central role in driving the demand volume forecast within the S&OP process.
In addition, you build strong business partnerships with Sales, Marketing, Trade Category Management, Supply Chain, and Performance Managers to optimize forecasts and ensure smooth product launches. You continuously improve predictive models, automate processes, monitor data quality, and visualize insights using tools like Power BI or Google Data Studio. By simplifying processes and leveraging data-driven insights, you help the business save time and costs while influencing strategic decisions.

Strong affinity with data and technology (required)
Analytical thinking combined with creative business insight
Operational experience in Supply Chain or Sales (preferred)
Experience in the FMCG sector (advantageous, subject to local alignment)
Interest in new technologies, machine learning, and artificial intelligence (preferred)
Experience with scripting and/or programming languages (advantageous)
Basic knowledge of databases
Experience with visualization tools such as Power BI, Google Data Studio, or Tableau
Fluent in English (required); fluent in Dutch (preferred)
Availability of 40 hours per week
