FunctieomschrijvingWHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO AS IT SYSTEM ENGINEER?As an WMS Engineer you are responsible for the use and management of our WMS System at multiple locations on our campus in Venray. In your position you know how to interact at different levels, with programmers, the local MT, employees and the customer. As a knowledge owner/adviser, you can be found for various issues and you are also a specialist in (re)setting our WMS System. You like to be and remain informed of all the ins and outs of the system and know how to proactively translate these to our warehouse operation.
(Re)designing and managing our WMS System;
Educating/training/guiding Key Users;
Identifying and implementing improvement opportunities within the system;
Maintain customer contact, including contact with the customer's IT department;
Provide day-to-day support for issues or service issues;
Advising local site MT on WMS System possibilities/frameworks;
Draw up advice plans;
Continuous improvement by participating in projects aimed at improving the organization and our processes.
WHAT DOES THIS ROLE MATCH WITH YOU? Due to your experience with WMS Systems (JDA Dispatcher Standard), you see the (re)design of the system, the translation and the smooth use of this system on the floor as your biggest motivator! You are well versed in communication and you get energy from contact with both programmers and the customer in an advisory and specialist role. You bring the following knowledge and experience:
HBO work and/or thinking level, preferably towards ICT & Automation;
Have worked with the WMS for at least 2 to 3 years;
Experience with JDA Dispatcher Standard or comparable system;
Experience with EDI (XML) reporting;
Knowledge of warehousing and WMS Systems;
Oral and written communication skills in the Dutch and English language of a reasonable level.
WHERE WILL YOU BE WORKING?You are part of the local IT team, which is characterized as dynamic, varied and informal. Continuous Improvement is of paramount importance. You report to the IT Manager and work closely with the site MT. The working hours in this position are very flexible. You start between 7:00 AM and 9:00 AM, depending on your needs.
