Senior Mechanical Design Engineer

As a Senior Mechanical Designer, you will play a crucial role in the product development process by leading the design and development of Skytree products. Leveraging your extensive experience and technical expertise, you will contribute to the innovation and optimization of mechanical designs, ensuring they meet the highest standards of functionality, reliability, and manufacturability.

•   Assist in the design, optimization and troubleshooting of industrial systems
• 3D Modeling and Simulation
• Design for prototyping and fast execution to enable quick verification of ideas
• Collaboration and Communication
• Cost Optimization and Manufacturing Support in later stages of the design process
• Creating production documentation and compliance with machine directive and safety standards applicable in EU as well as globally

• Proven experience (typically 10+ years) in designing and optimizing vacuum systems, with a focus on complex systems and large outdoor machines (preferably processing powders and bulk materials)
• Experience in CFD simulations;
• Experienced in Design for Manufacturing & Assembly cycles, 
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field; advanced degree (Master’s or Ph.D.) is a plus.
• Demonstrated ability to design experience in developing innovative solutions for cost-efficient and reliable mechanical systems.
• Proficiency in 3D modeling software, such as Inventor, SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar tools.
• Experience with condensation in vacuum and vacuum condensers design is a plus.
