Are you keen to take up a new challenge as business partner in a growing, professionalizing organization? We are currently recruiting strong, agile professional to join our finance department.


Role
As our Risk Specialist, you will play a key role in enhancing and optimizing our Risk Management & Internal Control frameworks while supporting the implementation of the CSR Directive. Based at our headquarters in Boxtel, you will report directly to the Manager of Finance S&S and Risk Management.


Responsibilities
  • Coordinate risk management activities at both group and business unit levels, including the review and assessment of existing risk management practices and the preparation of consolidated risk registers.
  • Analyze current processes and recommend improvements to Vion's Control Frameworks, assisting in the mitigation of control deficiencies and monitoring progress through periodic control self-assessments.
  • Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to enhance the design of end-to-end processes and procedures, developing associated internal control frameworks.
  • Support in the implementation of the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) across Vion and its subsidiaries, including financial materiality analysis, action plan definition for identified gaps, and design of CSR internal control frameworks.
  • Work independently with the Manager of Finance S&S and Risk Management to advance the professionalization of the Risk & Control function.

Your Profile
  • Several years of experience in Risk Management & Internal Control, preferably within an international corporate setting.
  • University degree in finance, business administration, or a related field.
  • Knowledge of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) processes and controls is highly desirable.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with excellent organizational abilities.
  • Demonstrated partnership qualities with both external partners and internal stakeholders.
  • Proactive attitude with a 'can do' mentality and the ability to navigate between tactical day-to-day operations and long-term strategic considerations.
  • Fluency in both Dutch and English; proficiency in German is advantageous.
  • Available to work 32-40 hours per week.
