YOUR ROLE We are looking for a QESH Employee for our Campus in Born. In this position you will mainly focus on environment, safety & health, providing support to the QESH Coordinator. As a QESH Employee you are part of the Operations Excellence Team in Area South. We are growing fast in this Area and continuously innovating. As a QESH Employee you make a valuable contribution to this! In this role you report to the Operations Excellence Manager. The team in Born consists of 2 QESH employees. WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO? As a QESH Employee you will:
  • Be in daily contact with operations and management to further improve the QESH culture on site;
  • Apply and maintain the QESH policy together with the QESH Coordinator;
  • Monitor standards and requirements and identify deviations;
  • Initiate and implement improvement proposals;
 WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?Optimizing processes is completely your thing. You are strong, can switch quickly and like to work in an analytical manner. Your helicopter view also allows you to keep an overview. You are also quite a perfectionist. You are also social: you have close contact with your colleagues in the warehouse and at the office, and you also easily establish external contacts.Furthermore you have:
  • An MBO+ diploma, preferably in the field of integrated safety or safety science;
  • Preferably one year of experience within logistics or supply chain;
  • Preferably experience with project-based work and project approach;
  • Experience with Microsoft Office;
  • Knowledge of and experience with lean methods;
  • Preferably experience in working with hazardous substances;
  • Good communication skills in Dutch and English.
