As Project Manager Real Estate and Site Development you are going to lead the global development of real estate within Enza Zaden. Like production sites, laboratory, greenhouses, processing plants, offices, warehouses from initiation to realisation. With your real estate and workplace expertise, you will work with the important stakeholders and external advisors. Join us and be part of shaping the future of our organization while growing personally and professionally.Being the Project Manager Real Estate and Site Development, you are the connecting link between the stakeholder (within Enza), the project team and external advisors. You know how to easily put yourself in the shoes of the stakeholder, ensuring that the design and final product matches the needs of the organisation and end users. This could be for offices, research& developments centres, warehouses, production sites or other types of property.From a fit-out project, to the (re)development of a building to the realisation of a complete campus. You guide the stakeholder through the process from idea (business case) to realisation. In doing so, you know how to turn a well-founded concept into a supported design that can be realised within the set preconditions (budget, planning and quality). In this role you work across multiple functions, organization levels, external contractors and technical partners on a global level.Before a real estate project can be started, a lot of questions need to be answered. What do we want to achieve with the project, why, how and within which preconditions? Together with the stakeholder you make this translation based on ambitions and objectives. You map out the wishes and needs of stakeholder, keeping a sharp eye on the intended goal, interests, the business case and other preconditions.Once the initiation phase has been completed and there is a supported project definition, you continue the design phase and then the contract formation and realisation phase. Here, you know how to translate the initial wishes and requirements with the project and design team into a concrete design and ultimately a realised project. Help will come from external suppliers like architect, engineering, etc. We work with a multidisciplinary projectteam (procurement, IT, HSE, QC).Together with the Global Manager Facilities you are responsible for the budget, planning and achieved quality of the projects. Large projects report to a steering committee. The representative from the board, Global Facilities Manager, Global Business Control can be found in a steering committee. You will report directly to the Global Manager FacilitiesJob requirementsTo succeed in the role of Project Manager Real Estate and Site Development, you are an experienced project manager and are well known in the field of setting up new facilities, preferably with horticultural experience and knowledge. You are a team player and can take others along as a coach in changes and new development plans and analyses. You possess strong analytical skills and can work with complex problems. You have strong influencing skills to obtain enthusiasm and commitment from stakeholders.In short, you:
  • Have a Master’s degree, preferably in (agricultural) business or engineering;
  • Have at least 7 years project management experience with (semi) large projects;
  • Are focused on high collaborative working skills and continuous improvement in optimization of processes;
  • Talent for connecting people and can work together;
  • Decisiveness and a flexible attitude;
  • Willing to travel
  • Are proficient in the English and Dutch language, both written and verbal.
