Manage global news developments in your sales expectations: today's headlines are your guideline for the future! What are you going to do?As our Demand Planner, you will play an important role in our new Demand Planning Department in ensuring operational and financial success for Enza Zaden.You are responsible for all forecasting activities. You collect all quantitative and qualitative data and compile a demand plan that is used to drive supply, capacity, financial decision-making processes. You know how to manage new product introductions and the short- and mid-term demand forecasts based on potential sales to predict future customer demand. Based on all this, you direct the demand planning process within the S&OP cycle and challenge your sales partners on their input.You interact closely with the sales teams to enrich the forecast (market/customer dynamics, phase-in of new varieties) and ensure alignment on different levels in the organization, like the Regional (Subsidiary) Sales Managers and Regional Sales Directors. You easily build and maintain relationships and partnerships. You analyze the relationship between sales activities, new product introductions, and seasonal impact on product demand to achieve accurate forecasts (based on data and analysis) which you convert into KPIs to monitor progress and success. Continuous improvement and forecast accuracy are two central aspects of this process. With your experience, you know the best way to partner and collaborate with the sales teams, how to grasp opportunities and how to lead processes.You have a strong vision of how to set and build insight in future sales expectations . This includes preparation of and leading the Regional Demand Review, creating, and maintaining forecast models, integrating business intelligence and inputs from sales, portfolio management, finance, customer service, and other sources. The Regional Demand Planner is the Supply Chain integration point into the commercial organization and plays a crucial role within the Marketing & Sales business unit. You have the ability to successfully interact with both parts of the organization.You know how to shape this new department together with your future colleague, the Global Demand Planning Manager. You will report directly to him/her.Enza Zaden is taking great steps in digitizing our organization and you, as our Regional Demand Planner, will lead the way in coaching your stakeholders in understanding and applying negotiation tactics making use of relevant data for the use of demand planning. Based on the analysis you can take the right direction and decisions.Your powerWe are looking for a strong professional who can shape this new role within Enza Zaden. You can interrogate data and produce detailed outputs.Finally, you can oversee complex processes and have excellent and clear communication skills in English. You look for the best possible way to achieve goals and can connect and collaborate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders.   • have a Master or Bachelor in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business Administration or related field;
  • have a minimum of 3 years’ experience within demand or supply planning management or another related background;
  • can initiate, manage and lead change and drive continuous improvement;
  • have the experience to use integrated planning systems and ERP systems;
  • bring strong stakeholder management skills, you are an outstanding analytical and conceptual thinker.
