Real Estate Job opportunity Amsterdam: Property Manager Logistics.

Our client is a well-known Industrial Real estate developer with international activities and an established office in Amsterdam. Due to the continued expansion of the activities, they are currently hiring a Property Manager. 

• Manage all aspects of assigned properties.
• Conduct regular property inspections and visitations with tenants.
• Design business plans for assigned properties that suit customers’ needs.
• Inspect and arrange maintenance to meet standards.
• Maintain a positive, productive relationship with tenants.
• Negotiate lease/contracts with contractors in a timely and reliable manner.
• Advertise and market vacant spaces to attract tenants.
• Collect receivable accounts and handle operating expenses.
• Develop and manage annual budgets by forecasting requirements and analyzing variances, data and trends.
• Oversee properties’ personnel and assess its performance.
• Accomplish financial goals and report periodically on financial performance.
• Prepare and submit assigned reporting to management and investors.
• Source and build relationships with prospective clients to expand business opportunities.
• Complete other special projects and duties as assigned
• Update job and market knowledge.

Educational background 

Degree in engineering or architecture ideally with additional skill in real estate management.
Professional experience

• Relevant minimum 4 years’ of real estate experience as a technical property manager or project manager of commercial real estate.
• Good comprehension of building equipment.
• Experience in planning, implementing a tender procedure, project management, property appraisal and remedy of defects.
• The ability to coordinate several external companies involved in the technical asset management process.
• Ability to work autonomously, to take initiatives, proactive.
• Flexibility and resilience.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Fluent in Dutch and English is necessary.
